About Me

I first became interested in photography in late 2017 during a trip to Japan. I was there competing in the Sanix Cup tournament, representing my province of Alberta in handball. On one of our travel days, we decided to visit a nearby city and explore as tourists in this beautiful country.

As we drove through the outskirts of a town, we passed vast fields surrounded by mountains. Fog filled the valleys, creating an air of mystery, and just as a train passed between us and the mountains, one of my teammates, who remains a close friend to this day, captured the moment on his camera. Instantly, I realized that, as simple as it seemed, freezing a fleeting moment in time was absolutely incredible. More than that, I was captivated by a photograph’s ability to tell a story.

A few months later, I found myself bringing home my first DSLR, a Canon EOS Rebel T6i. Even though it wasn’t the most high-end setup, I took it everywhere with me. Through those adventures, I discovered a passion for capturing moments myself.

Since then, I’ve acquired more gear (yes, two more cameras—oops), plenty of lenses, filters, and just about every accessory you can think of. I've had the opportunity to shoot everything from weddings and cars to concerts, sports, and more. Yet, every time I pick up a camera, I find myself more inspired than ever.
